Event Two
The class will be 1 and a half hours long, and materials will be supplied. However, participants are encouraged to bring beads to share and a special charm or stone to tie on their witch doll. We will be creating witch dolls, using twigs that are from trees, bushes, and plants that were damaged by Helene last September. This creation is a chance to reclaim and heal the area of our mountains that was destroyed. Creating heals.
The dolls will be made using willow twigs, other plants, rags, and a head made from an inner tube. We will make a charm pendant with mixed beads and a few stones. This will be tied onto the witch as an adornment, and to reward her for her brave act of surviving and becoming art.
The cost for this class is $35 per person, and participating adults may bring their children to participate for $10 per child. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Let’s have some fun and create a little Mountain Magic. Cher

Event One
Mud Bunnies,
making mountain mud paint
We will explore using mountain mud to create paint. This will be done using traditional tools and a few modern ones. The paint we create will be used to paint a mud bunny. The paintings will be done on alternative surfaces and on paper. We will also talk about how brushes can be made from natural materials, and explore using them to paint with the mud paint.
The class will be about an hour and a half long.
Participants should wear clothes to paint in.... they may get a little muddy.
The cost of this class is $25, including all materials. Children may come with an adult for $10 per child. Children ages 10 to 12 may participate without an adult companion.
This is an unusual class, and it promises to be a lot of fun. I hope you will be able to join us.
